The workshop has shown me that all of my words, thoughts and feelings are important, and more often than not, are shared by many others.... Patty
You gave me… and others, a chance to "be real" and honest. Thank you for sharing yourself with me. … Elizabeth
The workshop helped me realize that I need to go into myself more and let myself feel emotions that I've known are there, but often find I don't acknowledge. … Lorraine
Thank you for your gentle, calm voice. You say you are not a "teacher" however, you taught many of us to feel comfortable and let out our inner most feelings. We need more teachers like yourself to allow children to open up to their feelings. … Paula
Thank you so much! I feel as though I received a gift today. While I came here to learn how to enhance my teaching career, I feel as though I am taking with me so much more… Dianna
What I learned about myself today, I will bring back to my students. Thank you, Carol!... Margaret

Evaluation of Poetry Workshops Offered by Ms. Carol Stroll
Educators are often so aware of the power of language that they become hesitant to explore it. When I was the Curriculum Director for the Pittsfield Public Schools, I know that I shied away from poetry writing workshops, even though I have a Ph.D. in English Literature from Harvard. How fortunate I was to become acquainted with Carol Stroll. She possesses an exception ability to guide a wide range of educators beyond their hesitance to a creative and joyful search for their own voices. I know, because I both arranged for her to present a poetry workshop for teachers and I attended it.experience
